The Second Military Medical University, the full name of China People's Liberation Army Second Military Medical University, is a national key medical university directly under the General Logistics Department of China People's Liberation Army to train medical professionals and health management cadres for the army, and is also one of the national "2 1 1 Project" key construction institutions.

The Fourth Military Medical University of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (hereinafter referred to as the Fourth Military Medical University), located in Xi 'an, a world-famous historical city, is a national key comprehensive medical university directly under the General Logistics Department of the People's Liberation Army of China, which trains senior and intermediate medical professionals for the army and is one of the national "2 1 1 Project" key construction institutions.

National University of Defense Technology, referred to as National University of Defense Technology for short, is a comprehensive national key university directly under People's Republic of China (PRC) and the Central Military Commission, covering ten disciplines including science, engineering, military science, management, economics, philosophy, literature, education, law and history.

It is one of the first batch of key construction institutions in China, including "Project 2 1 1", "Project 985" and "Project 21/kloc-0". Selected in "Plan 20 1 1" and "Excellent Engineer Education and Training Plan", supported by the Ministry of National Defense and the Ministry of Education.
