Today (May 19) morning, a gas explosion occurred in a bungalow of the Family Courtyard of Minzu University of China. A first-floor residential building on the east side of Building 15 partially collapsed, and there were four gas tanks outside the house. According to authoritative sources, the accident did not cause any casualties.

Some students said that she was attending a class in a teaching building about 200 meters near the incident when she suddenly heard the explosion of "bang". It was a restaurant that exploded. A one-story building located on the east side of Building 15 in the Central Ethnic Community collapsed seriously on one side. Four gas tanks were placed outside the house, and a cordon was set up around it. A resident at the scene said that the house exploded around 10 in the morning. "There was a loud noise when the gas exploded, and it felt like an earthquake." Another resident said that the house was built for decades, and then a restaurant was opened, which was still open before the incident.
