Jinan Nursing Vocational College is a full-time public institution of higher learning. Its predecessor can be traced back to 1939, the "rebirth midwifery workshop" founded by western churches in Jinan. From 65438 to 0953, Shandong Provincial People's Government approved the establishment of Jinan Nursing School and Jinan Midwifery School, which became the first batch of public secondary health schools after the founding of New China, and later developed into Jinan Health School in Shandong Province. After many changes, such as reconstruction, school integration, relocation, etc., it was approved by the Shandong Provincial People's Government and the Ministry of Education in March, 201/,and was upgraded to a national university at the specialist level in Jinan Health School, Shandong Province. There are 14 specialties at the specialist level, including nursing, midwifery, pharmacy, traditional Chinese medicine, pharmaceutical production technology, medical imaging technology, medical appliance application technology, stomatology technology, rehabilitation technology, rehabilitation technology of traditional Chinese medicine, food nutrition and detection, service and management for the elderly, medical nutrition and medical inspection technology. Nursing and pharmacy specialty is a key specialty construction project determined by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Finance to support higher vocational schools to improve the development ability of professional service industry. Nursing specialty is "the characteristic specialty construction point of Shandong higher vocational colleges", nursing and pharmacy specialty group is a provincial brand specialty (group) construction project, and the teaching team of nursing and pharmacy specialty group is the provincial teaching team of Shandong higher vocational colleges. Rehabilitation technology major is a "3+2" undergraduate major in Shandong Province. The college is the Jinan teaching base of Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Binzhou Medical College. There are 4 19 faculty members in the college, including 2 14 full-time teachers, 29 full-time senior titles and 65438 associate senior titles. There are more than 6,000 full-time students, and the enrollment comes from the whole country 14 provinces and cities. The admission score and registration rate of freshmen are among the best in the province. The passing rate of students' vocational skills appraisal is 100%, ranking among the top universities of the same kind in China. In recent years, 130 students have won prizes in national, provincial and municipal skill competitions. In 20 19, the Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security announced that the employment rate of college graduates was 95%, and the employment quality and professional counterpart rate of graduates continued to rise, which was well received by employers. The college was formerly known as Shandong Women's Cadre School founded by 1952, and 1987 was renamed China Women's Management Cadre College Shandong Branch, and 1995 was renamed China Women's College Shandong Branch. 20 10 was transformed into an ordinary undergraduate college and renamed Shandong Women's College.
