Zhongnan University of Economics and Law is a liberal arts school focusing on finance, law, literature, history and philosophy. There is basically no engineering, and there is no major in electrical engineering and automation.

Hubei University is also strong in liberal arts majors such as philosophy, literature, history, law, education and economics. It also provides some scientific disciplines, such as mathematics, science and physics, and some engineering disciplines, such as chemical engineering, materials and electronics. No major in electrical engineering and automation.

Wuhan University of Science and Technology focuses on science and engineering and medicine, and also offers majors such as literature, philosophy, history, law and economics. The engineering majors of the school are materials, metallurgy, architecture, computer, machinery, automation, chemical industry, automobile, resources, environment and other fields, but there is no electrical engineering and automation major.
