Taishan Institute of Technology was originally named Taishan Institute of Technology of Shandong University of Science and Technology. Taishan Institute of Technology is located in Tai 'an City, Shandong Province. It is a full-time undergraduate college approved by the Ministry of Education. It is an application-oriented university featuring information technology and integrating engineering, management, economics, law and literature.
The predecessor of the school is Taishan Institute of Science and Technology of Shandong University of Science and Technology, which was established in 2004. In May 2008, approved by the Ministry of Education, Taishan Institute of Science and Technology of Shandong University of Science and Technology was an independent college. In February, 20021,the Ministry of Education sent a letter to the Shandong Provincial People's Government, and the school was changed to Taishan Institute of Technology.
