North University for Nationalities is the only comprehensive university for nationalities in China, directly under the State Ethnic Affairs Commission and located in Yinchuan, the capital of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, which is known as the "Jiangnan Frontier". The library, one of the landmark buildings of North University for Nationalities, was founded in 1984. On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the founding of the school in September, 2004, the new building was completed and put into use, with a construction area of 2496 1 m2. It is an ideal place for more than 20 thousand teachers and students in the whole school to obtain learning resources. This library is advanced in equipment and huge in scale.
