20 12. According to the encyclopedia, RTVU refers to the National Open University. Founded on 1979 and renamed as the National Open University on 20 12. The predecessor of the National Open University is the Central Radio and TV University, which was initiated and directed by Comrade Deng Xiaoping on the basis of learning from the experience of the British Open University. Officially opened on February 6th, 1979. On July 3, 2002, KLOC-0, the National Open University based on Radio and TV University was inaugurated. Comrade Liu Yandong attended the meeting and delivered an important speech. In May 2022, the lifelong education platform of the National Open University was officially launched and opened to the public free of charge.
