Shijiazhuang University, located in Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province, is a full-time undergraduate college approved by the Ministry of Education. Shijiazhuang University is the second batch of undergraduate admissions from all provinces in China, so Shijiazhuang University is the second university, and its running level is ordinary undergraduate.

The school was founded in Shijiazhuang Normal University on 1958, and changed its name to Shijiazhuang Normal University on 1959. In May 2004, approved by the Ministry of Education, Shijiazhuang Normal University was upgraded to Shijiazhuang University.
