Zhang Zhiping, born in August 1968, was born in Tongguan, Shaanxi. He works as an English teacher in a middle school. He studied western philosophy with Mr. Tan Xintian in Shandong University on 1994- 1997 and obtained a master's degree. In 2000, he studied modern western philosophy with Mr. Liu at Fudan University and now lives in Shanghai. Focus on modern foreign philosophy; Research direction: value philosophy; Modernity research; Contemporary German Philosophy (Scheler Studies); Value ethics in contemporary society. His main works are: Lost Road (translated by three people), Traces of Modernity in the Enlightenment-Political Philosophy (co-authored by three people), Biography of Jewish Celebrities and Thinkers (co-written), Twelve Lectures on Western Philosophy, and The Essence and Meaning of Emotion: An Introduction to Scheler's Emotional Phenomenology.
