No matter what your grades in language class are, it is not the language class that ultimately determines whether you can enter the school, but your college.

The college you apply for will decide whether your language scores meet the requirements and whether you can get CAS.

Change major

In some universities, language courses are not enough, but you can change your major.

What do you mean? If you get a professional offer and ask for IELTS 7.5, you only get 7 points and take a language class. After failing the language class, you can apply to transfer to the B major of IELTS requirement 7.

If the B major agrees with your application, you can directly transfer to another major in the same university.

Simply put, if you can find another major that you want in college, you have to go to school.
