School of Economics and Business Administration of Chongqing University, formerly known as Chongqing University Business School, was founded in 1937, and soon became one of the most powerful business schools in China at that time, making outstanding contributions to business administration education and the early development of national economy in China. The first president of our school was Ye, an economist studying in the United States and president of Chongqing University. At the end of 1938, Ma Yinchu, a famous economist, educator and doctor of economics of Columbia University, became the first full-time dean of our college. Subsequently, Professor Liu Dajun, Professor Zhu and Professor Zhu, economists and management scientists studying in the United States, successively served as the dean of the college. Famous economists and management scientists who have served as professors and leaders in our college include Ding Hongfan, Zhu Zuhui, Luo Zhiru, Zhang Shengling, Cheng Shaode, Yang Deqiao, Jin Tianxi, Mei Yuanmou, Yu Wangde, Zhai Shiquan, Huang, He Tingguang, Dong Wen Bridge, Hu Shanheng and Liu Ze Bridge. In the early 1950 s, colleges merged in the adjustment of national departments; 1978 set up the management engineering teaching and research section of Chongqing university to restore management education; 65438-0989, Chongqing University resumed the establishment of the School of Business Administration, and was officially named as the School of Business Administration of Chongqing University. After the college resumed construction, Professor Yang Xiutai served as the first dean.

1937- Chongqing university business school was established, with professor ye, president of Chongqing university, as the first dean.

1952- National faculty adjustment, Chongqing University Business School was merged.

1978- Chongqing university management engineering teaching and research section was established to resume management education.

1984- Chongqing university management engineering department was established.

1989- Restoration of the School of Business Administration

1993- Technical Economy and Management Doctoral Degree Authorized Point

In 2002, it was renamed School of Economics and Business Administration of Chongqing University.

2003-Obtained two first-class disciplines of business administration, management science and engineering.

2005-Received a doctorate in quantitative economics.

2007-awarded the National Economic Management Experimental Teaching Demonstration Center.
