The world's first ergonomics test system for brain-computer interaction, mental workload and visual function in orbit, designed and developed by the neuroengineering team of Tianjin University led by Professor Mingdong, also flew with Tiangong-2, waiting for the arrival of Shenzhou-11 and astronauts, which will open the first space brain-computer interaction experiment in human history.
The system has 64 authorized national invention patents and 1 software copyrights, and it is an independent intellectual property technology cluster built by Tianda Zhi Zhi. "Shen Gong" series of artificial neural rehabilitation robots have given thousands of people paralyzed by stroke the hope of living independently again. During the manned space laboratory mission, "Shen Gong" technology will contribute to the astronauts' stay in space in Tiangong-2 Space Laboratory, which is the key project of Tiangong-2 Space Human Factors Project. (The so-called "human factors engineering" refers to the interaction between people and the environment, equipment, machines, etc. )
This will be the first experiment trip of brain-computer interaction in space initiated by China before Europe and America, which will provide key technical support for the new generation of medical and human factors support system for manned spaceflight project in China.
