Puyang Vocational and Technical College, Puyang Medical College, Puyang Petrochemical Vocational and Technical College, Puyang Vocational College of Science and Technology and other universities. According to the list of colleges and universities published by the Ministry of Education in 2024, there are four colleges and universities in Puyang, namely Puyang Vocational and Technical College, Puyang Medical College, Puyang Petrochemical Vocational and Technical College and Puyang Science and Technology Vocational College, all of which are junior colleges. Puyang Vocational and Technical College is a full-time public higher vocational college established by the Ministry of Education with the approval of Henan Provincial People's Government. Its school-running history can be traced back to the establishment of Puyang Normal School in Plain Province in March 1950. In April, 20001,four schools merged to form Puyang Vocational and Technical College. 20 15 April, Puyang Municipal People's Government and Henan University cooperated to establish Puyang Institute of Technology.
