Postgraduate entrance examination refers to the entrance examination for undergraduate graduates, undergraduate graduates and students with equivalent academic qualifications to study for master's degrees in institutions of higher learning. This is similar to the college entrance examination for high school graduates entering universities.
It consists of the initial examination and re-examination organized by the national examination department and the enrollment unit. Postgraduate entrance examination is the main channel for university graduates to obtain master's and doctoral degrees. There are four courses in the postgraduate entrance examination: two public courses, one basic course (mathematics or professional foundation) and one professional course.
