Although each student's summer vacation life will be different, the basic content is the same.
It is worth noting that Internet cafes are places where most students spend their holidays. In addition, the weather is hot in summer vacation, and many students go to the wild bath to escape the heat, which is very dangerous. According to the survey, more than half of the primary and middle school students in this city spend all day in Internet cafes or game halls, which has caused great hidden dangers to children's life safety and greatly affected parents' work and study. A classmate surnamed Wang, who lives in Xiangbei market in this city, is 14 years old this year. On the first day of summer vacation, another student surnamed Yang came forward to ask Wang for game coins. Wang refused, so Yang picked up a chair and hit Wang Meng on the back, and then beat Wang with a wooden stick. Wang was so bloody that he fainted to the ground, and eventually died of untimely rescue and excessive blood loss. Another example is a child surnamed Hu, who had nothing to do at home during the summer vacation and went swimming with several classmates at the dam in the nearby countryside. Hu was going to swim a few times, but he panicked and lost his way because of the grass. He struggled desperately for the deep water, and finally he was drowned alive because of exhaustion. Her grandmother, who was nearly seventy years old, suddenly heard the bad news and couldn't support it for a while. She had a heart attack and died because of ineffective rescue.
If these students had adults to take care of them and someone to manage their lives, these tragedies might not have happened ... but now that they have happened, we should learn from them and avoid similar things from happening again.
The summer vacation is very long, and many parents are uneasy about leaving their children alone at home. Therefore, parents enroll their children in classes, hoping to cultivate some of their specialties and make their lives regular. After all, it is better to have a teacher watching the students in class.
According to the data of relevant departments, 32% of primary and secondary school students participated in extracurricular remedial classes during the summer vacation, but only 6% of students like to participate in extracurricular remedial classes. The data shows that parents spend 65% of their children's tuition fees, and their subjects are mainly English, computer, mathematics, literature and art. These large-scale and well-developed training departments generally take the form of running classes and teaching collectively, and the organization is relatively strict. In addition, many businesses and intermediaries also provide tutoring services for primary and secondary school students and recommend a group of college students to those who need tutoring. Like the tutors "guerrillas" all over the streets, they mainly adopt one-on-one teaching methods for primary and secondary school students' subjects, so as to check and fill gaps or let them learn textbook knowledge in advance.

As early as the eve of summer vacation, many parents began to carefully design their children's summer vacation life, collecting advertisements about training everywhere, inquiring about their own teaching quality and watching others participate in those trainings; There are also parents who ask people everywhere to find undergraduate and graduate students as mentors. A survey of 30 randomly sampled primary and middle school students in Changde City shows that 22% of them are willing to attend summer training courses. But most students, especially primary school students, are against training and counseling. Because I was young, I didn't form my own opinion; Or afraid of parents, afraid to express their opinions. Therefore, as long as parents have this requirement, they will accept it by arranging training or inviting tutors. But if the pressure is too great, they sometimes vent their dissatisfaction. For example, Chen, a third-grade primary school student in this city, has to learn English for two hours every day during the summer vacation, including guzheng 1 hour and piano 1 hour. After I go home, I will do my summer homework, read English and practice the piano. The little girl often tells her mother that she is "bored" and "more nervous than studying" and strongly demands to travel. 12-year-old Zheng is a junior one student in No.1 Middle School (Changyi). Although I am very conscious at ordinary times, after working for a long time, sometimes I can't help but want to go out to play. Occasionally, I will have a "acting first" and play for a day or two. It can be seen that playing is a child's nature. In mid-July, the temperature in Changde city was as high as 39 degrees, and some outdoor temperatures were as high as 42 degrees. There are very few pedestrians on the street, occasionally seeing a few, but most of them are children who are rushing to attend various training courses.

The phenomenon of running classes indiscriminately and charging fees in summer is more serious. There are many cram schools in summer vacation, but the quality of cram schools is uneven, and the fees and the quality of running classes are very different. For example, in Dongfanghong Primary School in this city, several parents invited a teacher who claimed to be Fuyue Foreign Languages Institute to help their children learn English in order to manage their children well and solve their children's holiday learning knowledge. The semester lasts for one month, and the tuition fee for each 220 yuan is satisfactory a few days ago, so parents are happy to pay, but they are late almost every day afterwards. A parent bluntly said: "The teacher preaches, teaches and dispels doubts, and preaching and teaching is the first important thing. You are late every day, how can you set an example for your students? " Instead of correcting it, the teacher gave up and never came back. These parents blame each other, but they are helpless. The phenomenon of running classes indiscriminately and charging fees in summer is more serious. According to the survey, at present, except for a few training courses which are more formal and licensed, most of them are short-term operations without business licenses. The teaching level and teacher strength of some training courses are unknown, so the training market is mixed. Cultural training in Changde City ranges from 200 yuan to 400 yuan in one month, and special training courses are even higher. For example, some swimming classes require 10 once a day in 300 yuan. If you hire a tutor, the price will be higher and the fluctuation will be great. Under normal circumstances, tutoring is 10 yuan for one hour, but some higher-level undergraduate and graduate students are 15 yuan for one hour, and 20 yuan is even higher; If one-on-one teaching is conducted for some majors in the city, the hourly fee will be as high as 50 yuan and 80 yuan. The fees of various summer training courses in Changde this year have increased compared with the same period of last year, and some of them have increased as high as 100%. Suggestions on the above problems: For all kinds of training and cramming classes in summer, the relevant departments should introduce corresponding normative measures, clean up and rectify, strictly examine and approve procedures, clarify the charging standards, and resolutely stop the phenomenon of running classes indiscriminately and charging fees indiscriminately. Education authorities can also organize "roving lecture groups" to replace the existing "training, counseling and tutoring" classes to meet the needs of society. The public security department and the urban management department strengthened the management and supervision of Internet cafes, and signed an agreement with bar owners to prohibit minors from entering. I also hope that parents will not blindly invest in children without knowing them, and let them learn various subjects that are not suitable for them, which will lead to children's depression and fatigue, which will not only increase the burden on themselves and their children, but also make it easier to miss the opportunities for children's development and delay their future.
