Chengdu University of Information Science and Technology was founded in 195 1. The school is located in Chengdu, Sichuan Province. It was founded by China Meteorological Bureau and Sichuan Provincial People's Government. The school, formerly known as central weather bureau School, was officially renamed Chengdu University of Information Science and Technology on 20 15.
