It is one of the first key universities built during the Seventh Five-Year Plan and the Eighth Five-Year Plan, a national key comprehensive research university, one of the first seven universities built in the "2 1 1 Project" and one of the first nine universities built in the "985 Project", and has been identified as a national key university directly under the Ministry of Education, with the goal of building a world-renowned high-level university.

3. Northwest University

Northwest University, referred to as "Xida University" for short, was founded in 1902 by Zhu Pi, Emperor Guangxu in the late Qing Dynasty, and is located in Xi 'an, the ancient capital. It is a comprehensive national key university of "2 1 1 Project" and "Engineering University of Basic Capacity Building in Central and Western Universities" jointly established by the Ministry of Education and the Shaanxi Provincial People's Government, and it is an institution of higher learning with a long history in northwest China.

4. Northwestern Polytechnical University

It is a multidisciplinary, research-oriented and open national key university directly under the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China, which is characterized by the simultaneous development of aviation, aerospace and navigation engineering education and scientific research. It is also a national key construction university of "985 Project, 2 1 1 Project".

5. Northwest A&F University

Northwest A&F University, referred to as "Xi Nong" or "Northwest Agricultural University" for short, is one of the key universities under the national "985 Project" and "21Project", and it is also the "discipline construction plan for aiding Xinjiang" and "1plan" of the Ministry of Education.
