School of Metallurgical Engineering was founded in 1977, with a history of 40 years. Metallurgical Engineering College is the earliest teaching unit in Anhui University of Technology to carry out undergraduate enrollment and training, master's degree and doctoral degree education, and has won many awards from the Anhui Provincial People's Government, the advanced collective of the province's education system, and the advanced grassroots party organizations.

2. School of Computer Science and Technology

1985 in July, the industrial automation major of Anhui University of Technology set the direction of computer application technology and began to recruit students; 1994, "computer science and technology specialty" was established, and the students were formally enrolled under this professional name; 1July, 1999, "Computer Science Department" was established and separated from the original industrial automation major.

In April 2000, Computer College of Anhui University of Technology was established. In 2003, it approved the establishment of a master's degree program in computer application technology, and enrolled the first batch of 24 students in 2004; On September 20 13, it was renamed "College of Computer Science and Technology".

3. School of Mechanical Engineering

School of Mechanical Engineering was founded in 1978, formerly known as department of mechanical engineering of Maanshan Iron and Steel Institute. 1985 was renamed department of mechanical engineering of East China Institute of Metallurgy, and 200 1 was renamed School of Mechanical Engineering of Anhui University of Technology. Faculty 104, including professors 18, associate professors (30), doctors (52) and working doctoral students 14.

4. School of Civil Engineering and Architecture

Anhui University of Technology School of Architecture and Engineering was established in 2003. In September 2007, it was awarded the advanced collective of the national education system by the Ministry of Personnel and the Ministry of Education, and in June 20 1 1, it was awarded the advanced grass-roots party organization by the Anhui Education Working Committee.

The college has five teaching departments of civil engineering, building environment and energy engineering, municipal engineering, safety science and engineering, architecture and engineering management and a comprehensive experimental center.

5. School of Electrical and Information Engineering

College was founded in the early days of 1977. After years of construction, the college now has four departments, a basic course teaching and research section and an experimental center. Faculty 106, including 25 professors, 3 associate professors and deputy senior titles, 50 tutors for master students and 5 teachers for doctoral degrees.

The College has successively undertaken more than 0/00 national scientific research projects such as National Natural Science Foundation, "863", Ministry of Science and Technology, various key scientific research projects and major Industry-University-Research cooperation projects, produced a number of landmark scientific and technological achievements, won more than 50 provincial and ministerial science and technology awards and national invention patents, and published more than 20 academic papers 100 every year.
