Nanjing University, referred to as Nanda for short, is a comprehensive national key university directly under the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (PRC). Ranked among the world-class universities (Class A), 2 1 1 project, 985 project. It is an international application of Nine Schools Alliance, China University Presidents Association, Pacific Rim University Alliance, 2 1 Century Academic Alliance.
Nanjing University can be traced back to Nanjing Imperial College in 258 AD. The modern history of Nanjing University began with Sanjiang Normal School founded by 1902. Later, it was renamed Nanjing University on 1950 after the historical periods of Liangjiang Normal University, Nanjing Higher Normal University, National Southeast University, National Fourth Sun Yat-sen University, National Central University and National Nanjing University. After the adjustment of 1952 departments, Nanjing University merged with the College of Arts and Sciences of Jinling University founded by 1888 and was still named Nanjing University.

There is a saying that non-autonomous schools have national lines. For other colleges and universities that do not have the qualification of automatic lottery scores, the lottery method of retest scores is as follows: after the national line of the Ministry of Education comes out, a certain score line will be passed on the basis of the national line.
Generally speaking, the scores of self-painting schools will come out before the national line, which will basically be higher than the national line. It is not excluded that individual schools and majors will be lower than the national line.
