I remember I paid a deposit in 50 yuan before I got a job there. Although it seems that 50 yuan is just a meal now, it was my five-day meal. Of course, I paid the deposit so generously because I thought the income here would be far greater than the money invested. But the job I got at that time was campus sales promotion. The main target group is the graduating seniors or seniors. Of course, because boys can't enter girls' dormitories, my main potential customers are seniors. At that time, the basic workflow was like this:
1) The campus part-time center receives sales materials.
2) Go to each dormitory to consult the senior's floor.
3) Then go to the senior and ask the dormitory number of the group leader, that is, the dormitory number where the monitor is located.
4) Then you can find a monitor to sell products.
The so-called ideal is full and the reality is very skinny. This marketing experience made me understand how cruel society really is. As a salesperson, rejection is very common. When you meet an accommodating senior, people will say: Go home, junior, we don't need it here. And sometimes I hear very vicious words: get out, we don't need it!
But the deposit of 50 yuan has been paid, and despite his reluctance, he gritted his teeth and persisted. However, it didn't take me long to give up. The reason is that I can tolerate disrespect from customers, but the so-called leaders of part-time centers don't respect us, and I can't stand it.
As a novice, I didn't get the list for nearly two weeks, so-called leaders began to accuse me, pointed at my nose and scolded me, saying that I couldn't leave, and some people left after doing it. In fact, I didn't earn a penny from him. It was such disrespect that I got up the courage and gave up this part-time job directly.
Although this part-time job is short, it inspires me a lot. It clearly tells me that if you want to do something, you must do those irreplaceable occupations, cultivate your own irreplaceability, and don't let others trample on your dignity at will.
