Galway University's recognition of returning to China is still very high. Golve University, formerly known as Queen Golve College, was founded in 1845, and is one of the oldest and most prestigious public research universities in Ireland. It is affiliated to the Irish National University Alliance and a member university of coimbra group, the top university alliance in Europe. The campus is located in european capital of culture in 2020-on the beautiful Korib River in Galway, and it only takes 10 minutes to walk from the center of Galway.

In the QS World University Ranking in 2023, Galway University ranked third in Ireland and 270th in the world. College settings include science, medicine, engineering, information technology, humanities and social sciences. Galway University has many world-class research centers, such as National Biomedical Engineering Science Center (NCBES), Irish High-end Computing Center (ICHEC) and Digital Enterprise Institute (DERI). Among them, NCBES brings together world-class researchers in the fields of biology, chemistry, medicine and engineering, and provides world-class research equipment. This is an international biomedical research institution located in Ireland.

In the past 150 years, Galway University has established outstanding research and academic achievements, cultivated many famous alumni, including the current Irish President michael higgins, former Irish Prime Minister Enda Kenny and former Deputy Prime Minister Emmon Guilmault, and ranked among the top 1% in the world. It has more than 19000 students, including 3900 international students from more than 170 countries.
