College students' "being literate but lacking quality" has become the focus of social attention. At present, the state also regards schools as an important part of education, paying special attention to infiltrating moral education into all aspects of school education. A large part of contemporary college students are only children, which leads to higher self-awareness of contemporary college students than in any previous era. College students are more concerned about how to further realize their self-worth while meeting their own needs. However, with the improvement of self-worth, college students' concept of social morality shows a downward trend. "For college students now, it is high quality to remember to flush the toilet after going to the toilet!" This is a post posted by a student on the Internet. That's right, as one online said, look at our university campus: "desk culture", "wall culture" and "toilet culture" are rampant: swearing is common; Littering and spitting; Books borrowed from the library are often scribbled. A special news survey can also explain the moral quality of college students today. According to the news, "cheating" has become a compulsory course on campus, which is higher than the mobile phone holding rate on campus. Cheating in exams has been an open secret, and the forms of cheating have also developed from "secret actions" such as copying answers to public plagiarism and collective cheating, bringing mobile phones, sending text messages, buying answers, and even finding gunmen to replace exams. Although universities have taken the most severe punishment measures, this trend has not been curbed. Cheating is common even in some top universities in China. Therefore, it is urgent to improve the moral quality of college students.
To this end, we put forward the following suggestions to comprehensively promote quality education and cultivate high-quality talents.
Suggestion 1: schools should give priority to strengthening the effect of ideological and moral education, and cultivate students' correct ideological consciousness and moral concepts through different forms of educational activities. Everyone will encounter all kinds of problems in the process of growing up, and college students are in a critical period of forming their outlook on life and values. Therefore, while cultivating and educating students, it is undoubtedly the top priority of college students' education to comprehensively improve and improve their ideological and moral quality, shape their healthy inner world, improve their personality and individuality, and comprehensively improve their quality, so as to achieve "moral education first, education first". Timely and properly help college students to establish a correct concept of moral quality, so that they can truly become qualified builders of the socialist cause and reliable successors of the party.
Suggestion 2: Give full play to the role of the school party organization and the student union, hold special discussions, and make the process of moral education for college students complete the transformation from the cognition of moral knowledge to the cultivation of individual moral behavior, and then to the overall improvement of individual moral ability. College students' moral cognition is no longer simply satisfied with passively acquiring moral knowledge and worshiping moral models, but self-selecting, thinking and even questioning information such as moral knowledge and moral models, actively intervening in various moral relationships, making use of existing moral knowledge for moral thinking and moral judgment, and then working hard and practicing for realizing their own moral goals. Suggestion 3: According to the development of society, grasp the misunderstanding of college students' moral understanding, and carry out targeted education on this basis. The level of college students' moral cognition is consistent with the direction of social progress, but their understanding of some new moral problems in social change is vague, even misleading, and sometimes they are confused in the process of moral judgment and moral choice. Contemporary college students are most likely to accept new values and moral consciousness caused by new social things and social changes. However, due to their lack of accumulation of moral consciousness, it is hard to effectively abide by the corresponding moral norms in new fields and new situations under the circumstances of diversified social concepts and mixed social systems. Faced with new moral problems, they will be vague or even misunderstood because of the clarity of social norms, the development of new fields and the nobility of individual morality. Therefore, schools should combine Marxism-Leninism, Mao Zedong Thought and Deng Xiaoping Theory with moral education, and conduct targeted guidance and education.
