From July 4th to 7th, 2009, the 11th China Conference on Cell Biology was successfully held in Xi 'an, the ancient capital. Dr. Wu Jiong, a senior scientist of CST, gave an academic report at the invitation of the conference.

Dr. Wu Jiong initiated and held the 20 14 Nobel Prize Winners' Medical Summit. Summit 20 14 was held in Beijing National Convention Center on March 23-24, 2004, and was co-sponsored by China Society of Traditional Chinese Medicine, China Acupuncture Society, China Next Generation Education Foundation and China Medical Doctor Association. Zhu Chen, Vice Chairman of the National People's Congress Standing Committee (NPCSC) and Academician of China Academy of Engineering, and Wang Guoqiang, Deputy Director of the National Health and Family Planning Commission and Director of state administration of traditional chinese medicine attended the summit and delivered speeches. The summit invited five Nobel Prize winners, including Richard Roberts( 1993 Nobel Prize winner in medical physiology) and Jack Szostak (winner of the 2009 Nobel Prize in medical physiology), as well as seven Chinese and American academicians, including Steve Kaye of the American Academy of Sciences and Liu Xinyuan of the China Academy of Sciences. Focusing on the international frontier of biomedical technology, the prospect of biomedical technology economics, the application of modern biomedical technology in traditional Chinese medicine, the inheritance and innovation of traditional Chinese medicine, the theoretical innovation of traditional Chinese medicine and industrial development, the theme of this conference was in the form of speeches and interactive+sub-forums, which attracted people from major hospitals, pharmaceutical and biological enterprises, research and development institutions and medical colleges.
