For more than half a century, the Art College of Henan University once had a group of teachers who enjoyed high reputation in the whole country and trained a large number of high-level artistic talents. When the Art College was first established, the most influential art educators in Henan gathered, such as Xie Menggang and Zhao Zipei, Yin Jinde, Wang Shouting, Ding Zhegui, Xie Ruijie, he zhiyi, Ma Jiguang and Ye, Liu Tiehua and Liu Tiehua. These highly respected and enterprising educators have made outstanding contributions to the development of modern art education in Henan. In 1930s-1940s, a group of famous teachers from Henan went to the whole country, most of whom were directly influenced by these old teachers. Since the 1960s, there have been professors (vocal music), Wang Wei (printmaking), Du Fu (composition theory), Lu (vocal music), Zhu Jinzhuan (vocal music), Chinese painting, Wang Rubo (oil painting) and Cong Qinglin (vocal music) who have had great influence on China's art education.
