Ningda, referred to as "Ningda" for short, is located in Yinchuan, a famous historical and cultural city, with the reputation of "Lake City on the Plug", at the foot of Helan Mountain. Being listed in the sequence of universities directly under the Ministry of Education is "cooperation between the Ministry of Education and the People's Government of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region".

The school was founded on 1958. It is the first batch of "double-first-class" world-class discipline construction universities, national "21Project" construction key universities, and "one province, one school" national key university alliance (Z 14) universities.

2. Ningxia Medical University

Ningxia Medical University is located in Yinchuan. The school's predecessor was Ningxia Medical College, which was founded in 1958. 1962 was renamed Ningxia university medical department. From 65438 to 0972, Shanghai Railway Medical College moved to Yinchuan, merged with the Medical Department of Ningxia University, and rebuilt Ningxia Medical College.

Postgraduate education began at 1978. In August 2008, the school was renamed Ningxia Medical University. 20 10 in February, it became a new doctoral degree awarding unit for engineering construction.

3. North University for Nationalities

North University for Nationalities is the only ministerial-level university in China established in minority autonomous regions, directly under the State Ethnic Affairs Commission, and jointly established by the State Ethnic Affairs Commission, the Ministry of Education, the China Academy of Sciences and the People's Government of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region.

The school, formerly known as Northwest Second University for Nationalities, was founded in 1984 and renamed North University for Nationalities in 2008. Hefei University of Technology supports North University for Nationalities.

4. Yinchuan Institute of Energy

Yinchuan Institute of Energy is located in Yinchuan, a famous historical and cultural city in China, with the Yellow River in the east and Helan Mountain in the west. Is approved by the Education Department of the Autonomous Region and Yinchuan Municipal Government to set up a private undergraduate college focusing on engineering.

The school was established in 1999, and approved by the Ministry of Education in 20 12, and was upgraded to an ordinary undergraduate college focusing on cultivating applied talents in petrochemical and electric power industries.

5. Yinchuan College of China University of Mining and Technology

Yinchuan College of China University of Mining and Technology is an independent college jointly established by the Education Department of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, Yinchuan Municipal People's Government, China University of Mining and Technology and Yinchuan Oriental Xubang Science and Education Information Technology Co., Ltd. with the approval of the Ministry of Education.

The college is located in Yinchuan, the capital of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, and is a pilot institution for the transformation of the autonomous region into an application-oriented whole.

In May 2008, the Ministry of Education approved the establishment of Yinchuan College of China University of Mining and Technology.
