Main subjects: English language and literature.

Main courses: intensive reading, extensive reading, listening, grammar, oral English, English writing, translation theory and practice, language theory, introduction to linguistics, literary history and selected readings of major English-speaking countries, and national conditions of major English-speaking countries.

The second major: sophomore elective next semester, four semesters. Optional Japanese, Spanish, German, French and Russian. It depends on the specific situation of the school.

Degree conferring is the same as English language and literature.
