University of Electronic Science and Technology of China is located in Chengdu, Sichuan Province, formerly known as Chengdu Institute of Telecommunications Engineering. The school has 23 colleges (departments) and 65 undergraduate majors, of which 13 is a national major, and 32 majors have been selected as national first-class undergraduate major construction sites. At present, there are more than 40,000 master's and doctoral students. The rate of undergraduate students' further study at home and abroad exceeds 2/3, and the rate of further study abroad exceeds 1/5.
The employment rate of students has remained above 95%, and more than half of graduate students have gone to state key units for employment. The number of postgraduate papers published in top international academic journals has increased significantly, and the number of people who have won provincial and ministerial scientific and technological achievement awards has been increasing.
