Jiangxi Normal University, located in Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province, is a university jointly established by the Ministry of Education and the People's Government of Jiangxi Province, and is an engineering university for basic capacity building in the central and western regions. It was selected as one of the first batch of demonstration universities in China to deepen the reform of innovation and entrepreneurship education and the national model school for teacher assessment and evaluation reform.
The school was founded by National Chung Cheng University on 1940. Chung Cheng University was renamed Nanchang University 1949, Jiangxi Normal University 1953 and Jiangxi Normal University 1983. In 2003, Jiangxi Financial Workers College (Jiangxi Bank School) was merged into the school.
There are 22 professional colleges, 22 professional colleges, 3 industrial colleges (built by * * *) and/kloc-0 independent colleges (polytechnics), with 90 undergraduate majors, covering ten disciplines such as philosophy, economics, law, education, literature, history, science, engineering, management and art.
