Kunming University of Science and Technology was founded on September 4th. 1954 was named Kunming University of Science and Technology, 1995 was renamed Kunming University of Science and Technology, and 1999 merged with Yunnan University of Technology to form a new Kunming University of Science and Technology. The school has three campuses: Chenggong, Lianhua and Xinying, covering an area of 39 15 mu. The main campus is Chenggong Campus, located in Chenggong University Town, Kunming.
