The predecessor of Nanjing Agricultural University can be traced back to 1902 Department of Agriculture and Natural History of Sanjiang Normal University and 19 14 Department of Private Agricultural Science of Jinling University. 1952 National college departments were adjusted, and the Agricultural College of Jinling University and the Agricultural College of Nanjing University merged to form Nanjing Agricultural College. After that, the school was renamed and adjusted many times, and finally named Nanjing Agricultural University with 1984.
