Ludong university Institute of Physical Education was formed on 200 1 by the merger of the former physical education department of Yantai Normal University and the public physical education department. In 2003, the Public Physical Education Department of Shandong Jiaotong School was merged into the Institute of Physical Education. The functional departments under the Party and Government of the Institute of Physical Education include staff party branch, student party branch, general league branch, college trade union, college affairs office, college teaching committee and college academic committee. After the merger of the Department of Physical Education and the Department of Physical Education, all the teachers belong to eight teaching and research sections and sports human science laboratories, including theory, track and field, basketball, volleyball, football, small ball, gymnastics and martial arts.
