In the play, when Yong Zhengdi appeared, he was a "lonely minister" and he was a lonely man. So who is Yong Zhengdi's real confidant today, and how many?
This is a cliche. This article only talks about drama, not history, and does not regard TV dramas as official history.
Speaking of Yong Zhengdi's confidant, I think many friends will subconsciously think that the old three, the king of chivalry, is Yong Zhengdi's first confidant. In fact, seriously speaking, the third is Yong Zhengdi's good brother, not his confidant.
Because "confidant" refers to a confidant's entourage, like what you don't say to others easily, you can tell your confidant, or you can entrust secrets and important tasks to your confidant. In other words, you can't simply think that supporters are bosom friends. Many supporters are indeed worthy of trust and reuse, but experts may not confide in them, let alone entrust them with secrets and heavy responsibilities. This is only for friends.
Let's take a look at the time when the old four and the old thirteen also had differences and disputes. Unlike the old ten who followed the old eight without brains, the old thirteen spared no effort to support the fourth brother, but he was not brainless and absolutely obedient. For example, on a trip to Jiangxia Town, Lao Thirteen wanted to call local officials from the beginning, and Lao Four insisted on hiding his identity in a low-key transit, so that he finally dismounted from the gate with humiliation. After leaving the town, Lao Thirteen said angrily by the river that Kangxi would inscribe a den like Jiangxia Town. After the old four interrupted him, he said angrily that he had never been so angry before, and then rode away directly.
When recovering the debts owed by the state treasury, Lao Si didn't tell Lao Shisan his plan, nor did he tell Lao Shisan to stay out of it. When Lao Shisan interceded for Wei Dongting, he didn't explain clearly, and even he didn't see Lao Shisan directly. When he saw the old Shi San behind him, he was so angry that he ignored him directly. When Tian Wenjing was beaten by Lao Shi, Lao Shi San told Lao Shi San directly: "No wonder people say you have a heart of stone."
So seriously speaking, the third is more about positioning Yong Zhengdi as a good brother, and spare no effort to support him to seize office, but he is not a confidant.
So, what is Yong Zhengdi's true confidant? Let's take a look at Song Anzhi.
First, the earliest confidant was Nian Gengyao.
According to the setting in the play, Nian Gengyao was originally a coated slave of the fourth family. Later, because of the old four, he became a participant in Hangzhou. It's the first time that Laosi went to Jiangnan for disaster relief, so Nian Gengyao was the first confidant.
Nian Gengyao happens to belong to a lean figure. Even from humble origins, even though the fourth son was a prince, he later became an emperor. However, he is such an unruly figure, and he did not obey Lao Si honestly. Instead, he can't figure out his position. Since the bloodbath in Jiangxia Town, the feeling he gave to Old Four was that he could not control it. After that, the master and servant drifted away, and finally, Nian Gengyao was condemned to death.
Second, likui jy, the smartest confidant.
In the play, Li Wei was born a beggar and was taken back to Wang Fu when Lao Si went to Jiangnan for disaster relief.
It can be said that he is a child prodigy and has made his position clear. No matter how big an official is, he knows that he will always be a slave of Yongzheng. Without Yongzheng, he was nothing. He is respectful to Yongzheng and always thinks of his master. Compared with Nian Gengyao, two people are a heaven and an underground.
It is precisely because of Li Wei's ability to make his position clear that Yongzheng became more and more fond of this slave in the Tibetan mansion. After Li Jue was promoted to the governor of Jiangsu, when they were having dinner, Yongzheng directly told him to work hard and make some achievements, and then gave him the position of governor of Liangjiang.
After Hongshi failed to assassinate Li Hong, Yongzheng first sought Li Wei's advice. Li Wei, a child prodigy, was extremely clever, and Emperor Kangxi was too tolerant of the old eight people, which left Yongzheng with a difficult problem of expressing his views implicitly, and made Yongzheng make up his mind to grant Hong the death penalty.
Knowing that Ceng Jing had scolded Yongzheng, Li Jue, as the governor of Liangjiang, went to prison to beat Ceng Jing regardless of his identity. As a result, the officials of the Ministry of Punishment, who were watching the war from the sidelines, were dismissed, and only gave Li Wei a symbolic salary for one year, and treated it properly as a confidant.
In fact, to sum up, Yongzheng's true confidant is one and a half, one is Li Jue who trusted him from beginning to end, and the other is Nian Gengyao who trusted him first, then distrusted him, started to guard against him, and finally turned against him.
Of course, some people are close to the position of Yongzheng confidant, but they are not real confidants, or pseudo confidants of Yongzheng. Let's talk about this in detail.
Third, Tian Wenjing, who is most like a confidant but not a confidant.
Tian Wenjing is a pure man. If Laosi is a scheming "lone minister", then Tian Wenjing is a real "lone minister".
His execution can be said to be quite thorough and meticulous, and he always puts himself in the people's shoes. However, his shortcoming is also obvious, that is, he will not be flexible, so there was a strike by students in Henan and the world shook.
Tian Wenjing's talent, which was excavated during the disaster relief in Jiangnan in Kangxi's forty-six years, can be said to be very important to him. After he acceded to the throne, he was immediately made governor of Henan, and, like Li Jue, governor of Jiangsu, he tried out the New Deal at the same time.
No matter how much trouble Tian Wenjing caused, Yongzheng was partial to him, but it should be noted here that Yongzheng did it for the New Deal, just like Li Hong's sentence "Tian Wenjing is wrong and can never cure the New Deal"!
It can be said that Tian Wenjing gives the impression that he is the confidant of Yongzheng, regardless of his qualifications or the degree of reuse. In fact, seriously speaking, the key for Yongzheng to reuse him lies in his out-and-out execution. As for the private communication between two people, there are not many. Yongzheng didn't say to Tian Wenjing like he did to Li Jue, so I'll give you a governor or something.
Of course, it doesn't mean that not thinking that Tian Wenjing is a confidant is tantamount to denying him. Yongzheng reuse Tian Wenjing, of course, because of his strong execution, but it also shows that he still trusts him. Otherwise, how could he be so reused?
But trust belongs to trust and reuse belongs to reuse. Yongzheng and Tian Wenjing were not so close. He never told Tian Wenjing what he said to officials easily. As for confidentiality, even Mr. Wu, the first hero who helped him win the official position, didn't reveal his identity to Tian Wenjing, so that Tian Wenjing didn't play the role of Mr. Wu well. Although the New Deal was fruitful, it was badly beaten by vested interests. Finally, it was because of teacher Wu's encouragement.
Fourth, the fake confidant Long Keduo.
Many people think that Roncado can also be called Yong Zhengdi's confidant. Just because he finally defected to participate in the discussion of the Eight Kings does not mean that he is not a confidant of Yongzheng.
In fact, Longkodo is really not Yongzheng's confidant. Throughout the whole drama, the two people tell the truth in private at once, which is basically business, that is, after the old thirteen was sent to Li Fanyuan, Long Ke burned the old thirteen's cold stove more, showing a proper intimacy.
Whether he was a bosom friend or not was best reflected in the night when Kangxi died. At that time, Long Keduo, who was the prefect of Nine Doors, sent someone to pick up Old Four. Old four told Mr. Wu directly that he suspected that Long Keduo was old eight, which made him hesitate for a while and didn't dare to go out. If Long Keduo is a bosom friend, will Lao Si be like this?
And read Kangxi's testament. It seems that Long Keduo read it truthfully, and expressed his support for Lao Si and suppressed the old Bayi Party. However, there is a big problem behind this, because Longkeduo's distance from Changchun Garden to get the testamentary edict is much longer than that of Laosi's sending Zhang to see Mr. Wu, and Mr. Wu sent Zhang to release Laosi, and Laosi went to Fengtai Camp to seize the military power and then went to Changchun Garden. As a result, Longkodo was full of military power in Beijing.
5. Zhang, who seems to be a confidant, is not a confidant.
Zhang's performance in the play is perfect. The reason why he can always be reused by two emperors, Kangxi and Yongzheng, is that he is loyal to the imperial power, and he considers the problem from the perspective of who is the emperor and solves it.
Because of Zhang's consideration for the emperor, many people think that he is the confidant of Lao Si. For example, on the night of Kangxi's death, it was dark and unknown. When the old Bayi Party was in power, Zhang stood up and supported the old four, giving people the impression that Zhang was dead set on supporting the old four.
But in fact, Zhang's style is like this. Whoever is the emperor will die loyal to him. If Kangxi chose the third emperor, he would still be like this, because his loyalty is to the person sitting on the throne, not to the specific individual.
Let's look at the cheating case in the examination room again. Yongzheng has been slow to punish Zhang's younger brother, Zhang, but he has been waiting for Zhang to make a statement and wants Zhang to make a statement as an important official. If Zhang is his confidant, as for waiting for Zhang to express his position in this way, he will definitely meet privately to communicate something, but he doesn't.
So Zhang seems to be a confidant, but he is not a confidant.
Six, similar confidants but not confidants Tu Lichen and Zhang.
Tu Lichen and Zhang are staunch supporters of Yongzheng. They have one thing in common, that is, because of Lao Shisan, they more or less began to support Lao Si.
Tu Lichen was brought up by the third child in the army, because this reason is to support the third child and then support the fourth. Of course, this prodigy's way of support is very obscure. Later, his support for Yongzheng was due to his loyalty to the imperial power and to people sitting on the throne like Zhang.
There is Zhang, not to mention, my sister Alan married the old thirteen and naturally belongs to the old four school, so he doesn't support the old four. Who will?
Therefore, don't confuse the two concepts of supporter and confidant. The superior will trust and reuse the supporters, but it does not mean that the confidant must be a confidant with increased trust. The treatment of bosom friends is obviously higher. On this basis, he will say some confidential words to him and entrust some confidential things and important tasks to his confidant.
Of course, with the passage of time, supporters can also become bosom friends, but time is of the essence, and generally the earlier you follow, the better. For example, when Li Jue and Nian Gengyao followed Lao Si, Lao Si was a less valued monarch with little power and few supporters, so Nian Gengyao and Li Jue naturally had a heavy burden. They did things beautifully, and they were old people in Yongzheng's hiding place, so they naturally became bosom friends.
In fact, it is a pity that Gao Fu started at the same time as Li Wei. It can be said that he almost became a confidant of Yongzheng. Unfortunately, his ability is poor and his position is not firm. This is a game of chess, and he is completely hopeless. Instead of becoming Yongzheng's confidant, he took his own life in vain, which shows that the political field is so cruel, and a little carelessness is the end of physical death. There are only a few people who enjoy the scenery at last.
When Yongzheng was paid more and more attention and finally became emperor, in the process, there were more and more supporters around him and more choices. It is also clear that many people support themselves, not because of themselves, but because they are in the position of the emperor, so many supporters will not become his confidant even if they are trustworthy and reused.
And with the increase of power and status, the requirements for bosom friends will be higher and higher. People like Zhang are only suitable to be imperial guards. Although trustworthy, their role in Yongzheng is limited, and the gap between them is 108 thousand Li, which is destined to be Yongzheng's confidant.
