Lanzhou University of Finance and Economics, referred to as Lanzhou University of Finance and Economics, is located in Lanzhou City, Gansu Province. Supported by Central University of Finance and Economics, university of international business and economics, Shanghai University of Finance and Economics and China Academy of Social Sciences. It is a university in the central and western regions of the country.

The school started from the Administrative Cadre School of Gansu Provincial People's Government established on 1952; 1958, upgraded to Gansu Institute of Finance and Economics, led by Gansu Provincial People's Government, and implemented undergraduate education; 198 1 Lanzhou business college was established, and was led by the Ministry of Commerce, the Ministry of Commerce and the Ministry of Internal Trade of People's Republic of China (PRC) successively. 1998, the central and local governments established a management system, mainly in Gansu; 20 15 was renamed Lanzhou University of Finance and Economics.

As of August, 2022, Lanzhou University of Finance and Economics has three campuses: Heping, Duanjiatan and Donggang, covering an area of 1.700 mu, with a school building area of 730 1.000 square meters and a total value of teaching and research instruments and equipment of1.328 million yuan.
