The College of Landscape Architecture and Art was founded on 20 14, and its school history can be traced back to 1958, the former Department of Landscape Architecture of Northwest Agricultural College.
The College of Landscape Architecture and Art has four undergraduate majors: landscape architecture, landscape architecture, environmental design and urban and rural planning, and the landscape architecture major is a characteristic major in Shaanxi Province.
The college has 1 authorized doctoral and master's degrees in landscape architecture, 1 authorized doctoral and master's degrees in landscape plants and ornamental horticulture, 1 authorized master's degrees in design architecture, and 2 authorized master's degrees in landscape architecture and art. It covers three disciplines: engineering, agronomy and art.
The college has teaching and research institutions such as the National Forestry and Grassland Bureau Peony Engineering Technology Research Center and the Northwest A&F University Garden and Flower Research Institute. There are seven undergraduate teaching laboratories, including garden engineering laboratory, garden plant application laboratory, building lighting and engineering materials laboratory and garden art comprehensive laboratory.
