Introduction of Li Siguang's granddaughter Zou: Zou,1born in March 1953, granddaughter of Li Siguang.

Zou lived with his grandfather before his death, and was the only living lineal relative of Li Siguang. Zou 1970 took part in the work, and was a trainee technician of Sanhe Earthquake Geology Brigade of the former Ministry of Geology. 1972 to 1976 studied in the Department of Geology and Geography of Peking University, and worked in the Institute of Geomechanics after graduation.

65438-0979 went to new york State University to study geology, and 65438-0987 settled in the United States. 1989 returned to China to assist his mother, Academician Li Lin, in managing the daily work of Li Siguang Memorial Hall. Zou is a member of the report group of scientists' spirit of China Association for Science and Technology.

Ms Zou is not only the only surviving immediate family member who lived with Mr Li Siguang until Mr Li Siguang's death, but also the only licensor of the copyright, copyright and portrait rights of Li Siguang's works. 1989 returned to China to assist Academician Li Lin, honorary curator of Li Siguang Memorial Hall (Li Siguang's only daughter, the mother of Ms. Zou) in managing the daily work of Li Siguang Memorial Hall.

Introduction to Li Siguang:

Li Siguang (1889101October 26-1971April 29), formerly known as Li Zhongmao, was a Mongolian geologist and educator from Huanggang, Hubei Province, and was one of the founders of modern earth science and geological work in China. He established a new marginal science "Geomechanics", which made great contributions to the vigorous development of China's petroleum industry.

Li Siguang studied in Japan in his early years, and 19 13 obtained a bachelor of science degree from Birmingham University. 1920 was appointed as a professor in the Department of Geology of the National Peking University. 1949, he served as vice president of China Academy of Sciences, director of Paleontology Institute of China Academy of Sciences and minister of geology. 1955 was awarded the title of academician of China Academy of Sciences.

Li Siguang devoted his life to geological research and made outstanding contributions to the geological cause and development of China. His academic achievements and thoughts have far-reaching influence, and he is known as one of the founders of modern geology in China.
