Good afternoon everyone!
I'm xx from Class 1, Luqiao, Class 20 10. I am currently a member of the class study Committee, and I am honored to speak here as the representative of the winner of the National Inspirational Scholarship.
National scholarship is a scholarship program funded by the central government to reward outstanding full-time college students. It embodies the concern and love of the party and the government for our young college students, and represents the encouragement and expectation of the state and society for our young college students. Here, please allow me, on behalf of all the students who have won national scholarships and grants, to pay high tribute to the leaders, teachers and parents who care about our growth, and to express my deep gratitude to the seniors and schoolmates who have helped us on our way to growth!
I am very excited to win the national inspirational scholarship, but I clearly realize that this does not mean that I am excellent in every aspect. Comprehensive evaluation is a contest of intellectual education, moral education and physical education. If you compare one item, many students will be better than me. So I can't talk about exchanging experiences here, just talking about some experiences of my two-year college life. Let me share my college life with you from three aspects: study, work and life:
First, study.
University is a happy and independent garden. Compared with high school, the learning style has changed a lot. I think the study of college students should be different from the exam-oriented education in senior high school, and the study can be enriched into two parts: the study of professional courses and the study of extracurricular knowledge. I am not a diligent student. I have always believed in the learning attitude of "grasping every minute of study, not grasping every minute of study", and the use of time must be efficient, especially in the prime time of study. To be efficient, you need to know the efficient period of your study. For example, I like owl learning very much. The more you read at night, the more excited you are. It should also be noted that we often make some reasonable plans and arrangements for ourselves, which usually need to be completed within one week. According to the importance of the subject, the time period and duration are different.
Road and bridge engineering has always been my favorite major, and I have always believed that "children of road and bridge are ambitious and dare to call the sun and the moon for a new day." I cherish this precious opportunity to study in this fertile soil with a strong academic atmosphere. Although I don't have much time to study, the study time of specialized courses always accounts for the largest proportion, and it is often a whole piece of prime time. For example, I will specialize in a professional course on a weekend morning. Of course, the learning environment must not be disturbed by the external environment. In addition, the actual operation is also very important, thank you very much for your teaching.
My extracurricular study life is very rich, and I often take some courses that interest me. Although we are science students, it is good for us to learn a little knowledge of humanities and social sciences. Unrestrained literature can just neutralize our rigorous style of work and make our extracurricular life less monotonous. Some people may ask, where did you get so much time to learn so many things? My secret is-private courses. I have my own curriculum, which contains my compulsory courses, classrooms and time for courses I am interested in, and I will find an empty self-study classroom to fill other blank time, so that I can find a relatively quiet environment when I want to study.
In this way, when I was a freshman, I passed the English and computer exams at one time and achieved good results, but I didn't think it was incredible. As long as you make good use of time, time will give you the best return.
Second, work.
Just entered the university gate, everything is new, everything is strange. I was born to take an active part in various group activities with the spirit of not being afraid of tigers. On the basis of ensuring my study, I have been trying to improve my comprehensive quality. I just heard that the university is an "ivory tower" and people here are "dreaming". I am lucky to be one of many dream catchers. Through these activities, I gained a lot of experience and met elites from different departments, which provided many convenient conditions for my future study and work. During my time as a class study committee member, I worked hard to cooperate with the teachers. I deeply know that if I want to be an example to my classmates, I must help them learn their professional knowledge well. I use my spare time to exchange learning experience with them, and when they get good grades, they really enhance my feelings with them. 20 1 1, 1 1 year1October, my classmates and I climbed Siguniang Mountain, which is more than 4000 meters above sea level, and went to Ganzi Prefecture, Sichuan Province to survey the topography of the local hydropower station. This summer vacation, I worked as an intern with a classmate in my class in expressway, Lu Yu, Hejiang County, Sichuan Province. Finally, it won the unanimous praise of local employees. In fact, looking back, I have encountered difficulties that I have never experienced before, but I firmly believe that this will be a valuable asset in my life.
Third, life
I think life is the sum of these social relations. As long as you handle all kinds of relationships well and feel comfortable, life will be infinitely interesting.
In college, teachers and classmates are the people we contact the most. With a harmonious relationship between teachers and students, there will naturally be a good living atmosphere, and we will be much more relaxed and happy when studying and working. I am very grateful to my counselor, Miss Zhao, who loves 63 students in our class very much. This year, under her leadership, Luqiao Class 1 won the title of "Excellent Class Collective". Teacher Zhao attaches great importance to communication with students, and students like this kind of communication very much.
It is the easiest and most difficult to communicate with classmates. As the post-90s generation, we all live in a comfortable and comfortable environment, so it is natural for us to feel uncomfortable when we come to university. This requires students to help each other, make more contributions and understand each other. In the relationship between people, it is difficult for us to do things directly in the process of doing things. Sometimes you need to wait, sometimes you need cooperation, and sometimes you need skills. This requires us to have the same attitude towards life as water. We don't flinch when we encounter difficulties, but find another way around the mountains. I suggest that students read Carnegie's The Weakness of Human Nature. I believe you will do better under the guidance of a spiritual teacher.
Although the result of things is very important, the process of doing things is more important, because we will be happier with good results, but the process enriches our lives. Life itself is meaningless, but you have given your life a meaning you want to achieve, so the process of enjoying life is a meaning.
Honor is the end and the starting point. I know I still have a lot to do. Facing the heavy honor of national scholarship, I understand that the country has given us not only honor, but also spur. Honor is cherished, but it can only represent the past. If you wander around all day thinking, you will lose its due glory. "The sea is wide and the fish jumps, and the sky is high and birds fly." I hope that I can start from scratch, with the earnest expectations of my parents and teachers, learn professional knowledge well, dabble extensively, enrich my self-cultivation, expand my thinking, be more strict with myself, make persistent efforts, create new achievements, realize my life ideal and repay the society.
Life has a cliff, and kindness is boundless. I want to express my gratitude to the leaders and teachers of the party, the country and the college again, and to the students who have given me selfless help in my study and life!
