Brief introduction of Wuyi University
Wuyi University is located in Jiangmen City, Guangdong Province, the first hometown of overseas Chinese in China. It is the only multi-disciplinary teaching-oriented local university on the west bank of the Pearl River Delta. Guangdong provinces and cities have established undergraduate universities, provinces and cities have established high-level universities of science and engineering, and graduate students are exempt from examination. The school was founded in 1985, 1990 became a bachelor's degree awarding unit, and 1998 became a master's degree awarding unit. In 2008, the undergraduate teaching level evaluation was rated as excellent.
As of May, 20 18, the campus covers an area of 1000 mu, with a total construction area of nearly 700,000 square meters. The school recruits undergraduates from 24 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, and recruits graduate students from home and abroad. There are 7 provincial key disciplines, 6 first-level master's degree authorization points, 5 independent second-level master's degree authorization points (***27 second-level master's degree authorization points) and two major categories of engineering master's degree and education master's degree authorization fields * *10. Master's authorization covers all science and engineering majors in the school.
