Huaqiao University was founded in Quanzhou, Fujian, a famous hometown of overseas Chinese. It is the first institution of higher learning in China named "Overseas Chinese" with the approval of the Prime Minister. 1in the middle of 983, the central government designated Huaqiao University as a "national key university". 1997, the former Jimei Overseas Chinese Tutorial School located in Jimei School Village, Xiamen, Fujian Province was merged into Huaqiao University and renamed as the Chinese College of Huaqiao University. In 2003, the school was rated as excellent in the first batch of undergraduate teaching level evaluation by the Ministry of Education. In 2006, Xiamen Campus officially opened. On 20 17, the school was selected as a "double-class" construction university in Fujian Province.

Fujian Normal University is located in Fuzhou, a famous historical and cultural city "Zou Lu on the seashore". It is a century-old provincial institution of higher learning with a long history and outstanding reputation. 20 18 was recognized as a "double first-class" construction university in Fujian Province.
