Qinhuangdao Vocational and Technical College was founded in 195 1, located in Beidaihe, a national summer resort. It is a full-time ordinary institution of higher learning approved by the Ministry of Education.

The college now has 8 departments, including information engineering department, economics department, mechanical and electrical engineering department, tourism department, management engineering department, foreign languages department, art department, business department, basic department, sports department, ideological and political education department and training center, with 3 departments 10 center, covering equipment manufacturing, electronic information, engineering technology, finance and trade, tourism and so on 10.
