Southwest University for Nationalities (hereinafter referred to as Southwest University for Nationalities), located in Chengdu, Sichuan Province, is a comprehensive university for nationalities directly under the State Ethnic Affairs Commission of People's Republic of China (PRC). Established by the State Ethnic Affairs Commission, the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (PRC), the Sichuan Provincial People's Government and the Chengdu Municipal People's Government, it was selected into the "Excellent Legal Talents Education and Training Plan", "Excellent Agricultural and Forestry Talents Education and Training Plan" and "Minority High-level Talents Plan".
