There is no Shanghai Fine Arts University in Shanghai, but there are fine arts colleges or departments in some comprehensive universities. Famous are:

1. Academy of Fine Arts of Shanghai University (No.99, Shenlu Road, Baoshan District);

Shanghai Academy of Fine Arts was founded in 1960, and 1983 was renamed Shanghai University Academy of Fine Arts. It is the only multidisciplinary comprehensive art college in Shanghai. In 2000, he moved into the independent building of the Academy of Fine Arts in the new campus of Shanghai University, with six departments: art design, traditional Chinese painting, oil painting, sculpture, art history and architecture. Recruit full-time postgraduate and undergraduate students.

2. Academy of Fine Arts of Shanghai Normal University (No.64 Guilin Road, Xuhui District, Shanghai)

The Academy of Fine Arts of Shanghai Normal University, formerly known as the Fine Arts Department of Shanghai Normal University, was founded in 197 1 and in 2002. The college has 7 undergraduate majors and 2 first-class master's programs; The Academy of Fine Arts of Shanghai Normal University is one of the two comprehensive fine arts colleges with the longest history and the largest scale in Shanghai. The college has developed from a simple art education major to a comprehensive art college with seven majors: art teacher, painting, Chinese painting, sculpture, visual communication design, environmental design and product design.

Xu Beihong College of Art, Shanghai Maritime University (No.0/550, Haigang Avenue, Pudong New Area, Shanghai, near the College of Arts and Sciences, Nanhui Campus, Shanghai Maritime University)

Xu Beihong Art College of Shanghai Maritime University was established on June 28th, 2009. At present, Xu Beihong Art College offers two undergraduate majors, namely, artistic design (visually conveying the design direction) and industrial design (product design direction), with a master's degree in design art. As a complete teaching system, Xu Beihong Art College will increase the painting major in the next few years to form the complementarity between art and design.

School of visual arts, Shanghai (formerly school of visual arts of Fudan University, No.2200, Wen Xiang Road, Songjiang District, Shanghai)

Shanghai school of visual arts (SIVA), formerly known as Fudan University Shanghai school of visual arts, is a newly-built art undergraduate college approved by the Ministry of Education. It is an art class founded by Fudan University, Shanghai Culture Radio and Television Group, Wen Hui Xinmin United Newspaper Group, Shanghai World Expo (Group) Co., Ltd., Shanghai Wen Jing Investment Co., Ltd., Shanghai Wen Jing Real Estate (Group) Co., Ltd., Shanghai Shenjiao Investment Co., Ltd. and Shanda Network Development Co., Ltd. in 20 13. With the approval of the Ministry of Education, it left Fudan University and was upgraded from an independent college to an ordinary private college, renamed school of visual arts.

The school has seven professional colleges: Design College, New Media Art College, Fashion Design College, Fine Arts College, Performing Arts College (Performing Arts Center), Cultural and Creative Industry Management College and Basic Education College.

5. School of Fashion and Art Design, Donghua University (Yan 'an Road Campus, Donghua University, 849 Zhongshan West Road, Changning District, Shanghai)

The School of Art and Design, School of Fashion, Donghua University offers three disciplines, namely, fashion design and engineering, art design and performance, including ten undergraduate professional directions, including fashion design and engineering, fashion art design, textile art design, animation, digital media art, environmental art design, industrial design, fashion performance and design, performance (film and television, drama) and comprehensive art.
