Hefei University of Technology (HFUT), located in Hefei, Anhui Province, is a national key university directly under the Ministry of Education. The Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the Anhui Provincial Government have established universities. The school has Tunxi Road Campus, Emerald Lake Campus, Lu 'an Road Campus and Intelligent Manufacturing Technology Research Institute of Hefei University of Technology, and has Xuancheng Campus of Hefei University of Technology in Xuancheng City, Anhui Province.
The school was founded in 1945, and 1960 was approved by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China as a national key university. Zhu De, Dong, Chen Yi and other proletarian revolutionaries of the older generation came to our school to inspect and guide the work. In 1979, Comrade Deng Xiaoping wrote down the name of the school.
In 2005, the school entered the national "2 1 1 Project" key construction university, in 2009, it was included in the national "985 Project" dominant discipline innovation platform construction university plan, and in 20 17, it entered the national "double-first-class" construction university.
