Laishan history
After the founding of New China, the territory successively belonged to Mu Ping County, Zhifu District and Yantai City. 1958, Mu Ping county was revoked and became part of Yantai city. Chujia, Laishan and Xiejiazhuang People's Communes were established one after another. Mu Ping County was restored in June165438+1October the following year, and Xiejiazhuang Commune was transferred back to Mu Ping County. 1962, Laishan commune was transferred back to Mu Ping county. 1965, Chujia Commune was transferred back to Mu Ping County.
