Sociology is not only an international discipline facing the world, but also an applied discipline facing reality and a development discipline facing the future. It deeply and systematically understands the society through empirical research, and then puts forward corresponding theories and methods to solve social problems. Sociology has now entered a period of vigorous development and maturity. Some important achievements of China's sociology have not only attracted the attention of other disciplines in China, but also attracted the attention of international academic circles, especially China researchers. In international academic circles, sociological theory has made breakthrough progress in reflection and reconstruction, improvement and application of sociological statistical analysis methods, increasing interdisciplinary research fields, and increasing specialization and professionalization of sociological research.
