Brief introduction of Sharjah University
Sharjah University was founded in 1997. It has eight specialized colleges, namely, Islamic Shariah and Islamic Studies College, Law School, Arts and Sciences College, Enterprise Management College, Engineering College, Health College, Fine Arts College and Communication College, as well as an education center and vocational training department. In 2003, there were 4,374 students, and the enrollment in that year was 1060. 1999, the university and Arizona state university formed a sister school. In 2003, the number of male and female graduates was 162 and 380 respectively.
