What are the original English books suitable for college students to read?
If you look at the original English, the books published by domestic publishing houses will naturally be ignored. English readers who don't know what stage they are in, according to my understanding, since they are required to read, they should have picked up some English books but failed to finish them. If you have never read an English book, I suggest you start with a fairy tale book. Don't feel low, I'm serious. From the beginning, I can arouse reading interest, keep up with the number of words and reading speed, and I won't feel too tired and bored. Recommend animal farm, baby, Charlotte's net. If you think your English reading level can skip the adaptation stage of fairy tales, I recommend you to read some philosophical novels with strong stories, such as The Shawshank Redemption (actually, this is the name of the movie, I can't remember the title) and The Kite Runner.
