The College of Humanities of Guangzhou University has three first-class master's degree programs in China Language and Literature, China History and Drama Film (jointly organized with the School of Journalism), and two full-time professional master's degree programs in Education (Chinese) and Chinese International Education. Among them, the first-level master's degree program of Chinese language and literature includes six master's degree programs in two disciplines (China philology, linguistics and applied linguistics, China ancient literature, China classical philology, China modern and contemporary literature, comparative literature and world literature). The first-class master's degree program in China History includes two disciplines and research directions: ancient history of China, specialized history, cultural exchange between China and the West, Lingnan culture, and the study of thirteen lines in Guangzhou. The master program of drama and film science includes drama theory and art, film theory and director.
3. The major with the largest enrollment is subject teaching (Chinese), with 50 students, followed by master of Chinese international education with 20 students and China Language and Literature 10 students.
