China Communication University, a university that you can go to if you want to be a star. China Communication University is a national "2 1 1 Project" key construction university directly under the Ministry of Education, and officially entered the ranks of national 985 "Innovation Platform for Dominant Subjects" project key construction universities. Its predecessor was the training course for technicians of the Central Broadcasting Bureau, which was founded in 1954.

In August, 2004, Beijing Broadcasting Institute was renamed China Communication University. The school is located by the ancient canal in the east of China. The campus covers an area of 463,700 square meters with a total construction area of 499,600 square meters.
