Liaocheng University currently has 2,250 faculty members (the number of full-time teachers is not disclosed), including 2 16 senior titles and 745 deputy senior titles. Linyi University has 2025 full-time teachers, 707 of whom have doctoral degrees, including 56 national, provincial and ministerial-level high-level talents. Yantai University has full-time teachers 1726, including 846 senior titles, 867 doctors and 9 national high-level talents. Jinan University has 2 165 full-time teachers (344 professors and 757 associate professors), 26 doctors 1207 and 26 national high-level talents. Qingdao University has more than 2,600 full-time teachers (475 professors and 896 associate professors), including 66 national high-level talents and 0/30 provincial high-level talents.

There are more than 44,000 full-time students in Linyi University, 42,000 in Qingdao University, 38,000 in Jinan University, 34,000 in Liaocheng University and 30,000 in Yantai University.

4. College entrance examination admission scores

In 2020, the general admission scores of these five universities in Shandong Province are as follows: Qingdao University 566, Jinan University 538, Yantai 5 18, Liaocheng University 503, Linyi University 503 (the first paragraph) and 459 (the second paragraph).

5. Academic level

Qingdao University has 2 national key disciplines, 20 key disciplines in Shandong Province and 8 first-class disciplines in Shandong Province. Jinan University has 17 key disciplines in Shandong Province. Liaocheng University has 12 key disciplines in Shandong Province. Yantai University has seven key disciplines in Shandong Province. Linyi University has five key disciplines in Shandong Province.

According to the results of the fourth round of discipline evaluation by the Ministry of Education, 9 disciplines in Qingdao University got C+, 7 disciplines got C, and 9 disciplines got C-. Jinan University 1 Subject, 2 subjects B-, 4 subjects C+, 4 subjects C- and 5 subjects C-. Yantai University got 1 subject B, 2 subject C, 1 subject C-. Liaocheng University got C- in three courses. Linyi University is not qualified for evaluation.

Based on the above five points, Qingdao University ranks first in comprehensive strength, followed by Jinan University, Yantai University and Liaocheng University. Although Linyi University is the largest, its soft power is weaker than the other four universities, and its comprehensive ranking can only be ranked last.
