Founded in 2004, Xianda School of Economics and Humanities of Shanghai International Studies University is one of the first independent colleges approved by the Ministry of Education in Shanghai, which is jointly organized by Shanghai International Studies University and Shanghai Xianda Investment Co., Ltd.
Xianda School of Economics and Humanities of Shanghai International Studies University is located in Hongkou Campus of Shanghai International Studies University, with elegant environment, strong humanistic atmosphere and convenient transportation. It has modern teaching building, comprehensive building, administrative office building and student apartment building.
The college has two campuses, Hongkou and Chongming. Hongkou Campus is adjacent to Shanghai International Studies University. Chongming Campus is located in Chenjia Town, Chongming Island, with a total area of 500 mu. The first phase of the project has been basically completed, and the beautiful Tuscan architecture complements the unique ecological environment.
College teachers are mainly composed of full-time teachers with master's degree or above from Shanghai International Studies University and in-service senior teachers with rich teaching experience. The college attaches great importance to the construction of teaching staff, constantly improves the reward system for teaching and scientific research, and strives to build a full-time teaching staff with equal emphasis on professional titles and academic qualifications, teaching experience and practical ability, and both ability and political integrity, so as to continuously improve the teaching quality.
